If you’ve chosen the Sants neighborhood for where to stay in Barcelona with kids, you can’t get any closer to the Sants train station than Barcelo Sants. However, it also has more residential features that families will find beneficial like grocery store options. Due to the nature of the area, it is incredibly busy and graffiti abounds. It is conveniently located near the Barcelona Sants train station making public transportation, outbound trains, and car rentals easily accessible. The Sants neighborhood in Barcelona is another consideration for where to stay in Barcelona with kids. Bunk beds for kids are always a win! They also offer free wi-fi, free bike rentals, and free Ipads for use during your stay. They offer a variety of rooms from a room with just a full bed to a quadruple room with a queen bed and bunk beds. Not only is ICON BCN in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods to stay in Barcelona, but it is incredibly family-friendly. This is a particularly family-friendly hotel option in Barcelona due to their family plan with 2 bedrooms. Located just off Las Ramblas, El Palace Barcelona has a pool, on-site dining options, and a rooftop terrace. It is managed by Sixtytwo Hotel next door so you will always have staff on hand for any needs that may arise. All units come with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, and a washer/dryer. They are incredibly spacious with 1-3 bedroom options. These managed apartments are right in the heart of Passeig de Gracia and walking distance to both Gaudi homes. Some neighborhoods in this district are ritzier than others but the entire area is home to some of the best hotels in Barcelona for families. Best of all, you’ll be in the mix of things without compromising your safety. There are tons of taxis, public transportation, and tour bus pickups in the area as well. It contains many popular tourist attractions like the Gaudi houses, La Sagrada Familia, and all the glorious shopping on Passeig de Gracia. The Eixample district is my favorite area in Barcelona and my most recommended when considering where to stay in Barcelona with kids.
